My Everyday Essentials

I find myself reaching for the same things everyday when I'm running out the door for work. If I don't have these things, I feel naked all day long, like a piece of me is missing. I thought it might be fun to give you a look into my everyday essentials: the items I FOR SURE cannot live without:

My Everyday Essentials

WATER BOTTLE, PONYTAIL HOLDERS, COMPUTER, PHONE, AND KEYS

I never leave home without my water bottle. If I do, I find that I don't drink as much water. I keep my ponytail holders on my water bottle so that I always have a couple of them with me. I also never leave home to go to work without my computer. It has my whole life on it. Obviously, my phone and my keys are a must.

My Everyday Essentials

watch, ring, and earrings

Steven bought me this adorbs watch for Christmas last year from Baldwin KC. I never leave home without my watch because sometimes with a toddler (I'm a nanny) I don't have an extra hand to get my phone out of my pocket to check the time. These simple Madewell earrings are always the finishing touch to any outfit for me and, of course, I don't leave home without my gorgeous Jennie Kwon wedding ring (holy crud I love this thing).

WALLET AND IT'S CONTENTS

This lovely wallet from Madewell holds everything I need so I don't need to carry a purse. In it, I have money, a swiss army knife/multitool (I use this thing more than I ever thought I would), a pen, a nail file, Burt's Bee's chapstick (A VERY ESSENTIAL AND IMPORTANT ITEM), a picture of my handsome hubby, some lipstick to glam it up a bit, my IKEA family card and my tattoo artist's business card (duh), and two essential oils for migraines.

In all my minimalism challenge hoopla, I would never dream of getting rid of any of these things.

Also, handy tip for the ladies/moms who have giant purses/diaper bags: keep a magnet at the bottom of your purse to collect all the bobby pins. It really works!
